| Barrier Line | OTM Book 11 §3.7: double solid yellow barrier line, approximately 10 cm each, separated by one line-width. Marks a passing prohibition |
| Centre Line | OTM Book 11 §3.4: directional dividing line, yellow, approximately 10 cm, broken 3 m segment + 6 m gap. Double markings are required at 70 km/h or more |
| Continuity Line | OTM Book 11 §3.5: white continuity line, 20 cm, 3 m line + 3 m gap. Separates the through lane from an auxiliary lane a driver may cross |
| Edge Line | OTM Book 11 §3.4: solid line at the pavement edge, approximately 10 cm, 20 cm on freeways. White on the right, yellow on the left of a divided roadway |
| Lane Line | OTM Book 11 §3.4: white broken line, approximately 10 cm, 3 m segments separated by 9 m gaps on rural roads (6 m on urban streets). Solid where lane changes are discouraged |
| Transition Line | OTM Book 11 §3.5: the same 20 cm 3 m / 3 m pattern used through a taper — 20 cm edge lines begin at least 100 m in advance, 10 cm ones at least 30 m |
