CapCad in your country

CapCad works to your country's standards through a country profile. Here's what one contains — and how we build yours.

What a country profile contains

Sign libraries Your country's official sign set, ready to insert as CAD blocks.
Marking standards Longitudinal, transverse and area markings — including chevrons and hatching — to your published geometry.
Blocks Studs, delineators, barriers and guardrail in your country's shapes.
Coordinate systems Your national or regional grid, native — no conversion step.
Layers, colours and linetypes Naming and appearance to your agency's or country's convention.
Reports and quantity tables Templates in your format, ready for delivery.
Paper formats and title blocks If the ones we ship aren't yours.
Drive side Left- or right-hand traffic, throughout the tools.

You can configure much of this yourself

You don't have to wait for us. Layers, styles, blocks and libraries are fully configurable in CapCad today, and you can load your own libraries at any time. A country profile is us doing that work for you — and maintaining it.

How it works

1

You send us your standards

The published manuals and any agency-specific conventions you work to.

2

We scope it with you

What goes in, in what order, and how long it takes — agreed before we start.

3

We build it

Libraries, standards and configuration, built and tested against real drawings.

4

It arrives as a profile

Downloaded and activated inside CapCad — no reinstall.

Worth knowing

How long does it take?

It depends on how complete and unambiguous the published standards are. Some manuals specify geometry only in figures, which takes longer to work from than a dimensioned table.

What is agreed beforehand?

Scope, order of work and timescale are agreed with you before anything starts — no surprises on either side.
